Welcome to The Mac Attic, an abandonware software library made for vintage Apple computers and very old/ancient web browsers
This is another game based on the classic "snake" concept, aptly named after a famous 1982 sci-fi film. It is a multiplayer-only game where from 2 to 10 participants can compete via an AppleTalk network. Besides steering their opponents towards destruction, players have the ability to instantaneously annihilate their rivals using zero-turn projectiles. This game, being fast-paced and entertaining, can be concluded in mere seconds amongst deft players. I spent considerable time playing this on a network of Mac SEs in my high school computer laboratory.
The provided archive is a Disk Copy 4.2 disk image that contains version 2.1 of this game, which was launched in May 1991.
For playing, it necessitates two AppleTalk-connected Macintosh systems operating on System 6.0.2 or later versions, also, according to the Instruction screen, there should be "no strange INITS".
It is not compatible with Mini vMac.
